Updal Solutions and ZapCarbon join forces for healthier homes

Updal Solutions is very happy to announce a new strategic partnership with ZapCarbon, bringing together engineering, technology and many years of experience within the social housing sector.

The idea behind the partnership is quite simple: combine Updal's experience in developing connected products and monitoring solutions with ZapCarbon's deep understanding of social housing and resident engagement.

The need is very real.

Awareness of the health risks associated with damp and mould in our homes has increased significantly in recent years. For housing providers, having access to good and reliable environmental data can help identify problems earlier, better understand the conditions inside a property and support the right actions before smaller problems become serious ones.

Together, Updal Solutions and ZapCarbon will work on customised solutions for environmental monitoring and data collection, with the ambition to help create safer and healthier homes for hundreds of thousands of residents living in tenanted properties.

For us at Updal, this is an exciting opportunity to use engineering and IoT technology for something that can make a real difference in people's everyday lives.
