In close partnership with Ochno, we developed the electronics for a complex product. We worked together to solve technical challenges and create a reliable solution. We also designed the mechanics based on the customer's industrial design (ID). The product was optimized for high-volume manufacturing while keeping the original look and design.
ZapCarbon has been helping social housing customers solve mould problems for more than 10 years. During this time, they saw that preventing mould is much better than fixing it after it appears. Together with Updal, they developed an IoT solution that helps prevent damp and mould. The device measures humidity, temperature and movement, sends the data through a built-in SIM card, and analyses everything in a cloud platform. Today, more than 40,000 devices are installed and working every day. The system uses AI built from years of collected sensor data and maintenance visits, helping housing providers find problems early and reduce mould before it becomes a bigger issue
Updal is working together with Wittra Sweden AB to develop a smart and compact hardware solution for industrial asset tracking. The product uses sub-GHz wireless technology, giving long communication range even in difficult environments. By combining Updal's hardware and mechanical design expertise with Wittra's software platform, we are creating a reliable and innovative IoT solution for the industrial market

Working closely with the customer, we developed a smart connected solution and helped build an efficient and reliable supply chain for production.
