A clear ambition
Updal was founded with a simple ambition: to help technology companies develop better products and bring innovative ideas to market. Since starting operations in January 2023, we have grown into a trusted engineering partner delivering complete development projects, IoT solutions and technology investments across Sweden, Austria, Netherlands, Ireland and the UK.
Engineering and own products
In just a few years, we have successfully completed numerous engineering assignments in embedded systems, electronics, firmware, software, mechanics and connected devices. Alongside our consulting business, we have continued to develop and deploy our own S-2Connect® Pro1 and Companion platforms, which today support customers in real-world applications across the UK and Ireland.

Our growth has been driven by long-term customer relationships, strategic partnerships and continuous investment in our engineering capability. As the business has expanded, we have strengthened our organisation, broadened our technical expertise and built a scalable engineering team capable of delivering increasingly complex projects.

Supporting local communities.
Updal is proud to support Runby IF, a local football club in Upplands Väsby with a strong focus on children, young people, and the local community.
Runby IF works to make football open and affordable for everyone. The club gives children and young people a safe and welcoming place where they can play football, develop their skills, make friends, and experience what it means to be part of a team.
The club also has a women's team, helping create more opportunities for women to play and develop in football. Together with its youth teams and community activities, this makes Runby IF an important part of the local area.
