A clear ambition
Updal was founded with a simple ambition: to help technology companies develop better products and bring innovative ideas to market. Since starting operations in January 2023, we have grown into a trusted engineering partner delivering complete development projects, IoT solutions and technology investments across Sweden, Austria, Netherlands, Ireland and the UK.

Engineering and own products
In just a few years, we have successfully completed numerous engineering assignments in embedded systems, electronics, firmware, software, mechanics and connected devices. Alongside our consulting business, we have continued to develop and deploy our own S-2Connect® Pro1 and Companion platforms, which today support customers in real-world applications across the UK and Ireland.

What we do now
Today, Updal provides specialist consulting for focused, well-defined projects — measured in weeks and quarters, then handed over. We also work closely with our partner companies on S-2Connect and the connected devices installed in the UK.

Our current work spans technology, operations and commercial development in a high-tech industry built around live connectivity and connected devices. We support customers with engineering expertise, interim management, sales and business development, adapting our role to each customer's needs.

Updal is proud to support Runby IF, a local football club in Upplands Väsby with a strong focus on children, young people, and the local community.
Runby IF works to make football open and affordable for everyone. The club gives children and young people a safe and welcoming place where they can play football, develop their skills, make friends, and experience what it means to be part of a team.
The club also has a women's team, helping create more opportunities for women to play and develop in football. Together with its youth teams and community activities, this makes Runby IF an important part of the local area.
